Los españoles pronunciamos igual la b y la v; pero en inglés se pronuncian diferente:

          la b es claramente bilabial

             la v es labiodental

La b se pronuncia apretando los labios y la v mordiendo el labio inferior.

Spellings:

Los españoles suelen pronunciar yes como una y griega:

pero el sonido representado en fonética por el símbolo [ j ], que no hay que confundir con una jota española, se parece más al de una  i  latina que al de la y griega.

Aunque se entiende, conviene corregir la pronunciación de YES porque es una palabra muy usual y pronunciándola bien causaremos mejor impresión.
